Central Platte Natural Resources District and Tri-Basin Natural Resources District along with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service are sponsoring an Agriculture Industry Symposiums to connect with leaders across the agriculture industry sector to learn about the bottlenecks that are limiting conservation adoption. Research across the Midwest has highlighted that producers overwhelmingly seek out and trust information about conservation from individuals within the agriculture sector. As conservation organizations our preference is to support producers with Technical and Financial Assistance through voluntary incentive-based conservation programs rather than through top-down regulatory actions to improve water quality, water quantity, and habitat.
